ALO was awarded by KCSC – Agha Khan a social development project which was implemented successfully. The role of the organization in this project was to identify community relevant problem and to prepare proposal based on their request. As well, training of the community was the most prominent component of the project which successfully done.
This project was awarded through JV with ACTD and ALO was selected to provide Human Rights awareness to the people of Helmand provinces including their district which done successfully.
The role of ALO was to identify the community problem, preparing community development plan, and based on villagers and development of proposal based on request of the community and implementation of the project. Monitoring and evaluating project activities and report to donor.

This project was awarded by UNICEF as JV project with ACTD. The role of ALO in this project was survey first, identification of vulnerable street workers children, enrolment the them to former schools and providing vocational training to their parent both male and female. All components of the project have been done successfully.
ALO was awarded by WFP to assess and provide food for the people who were suffered and face problem to natural disaster. This has been done in Helmand province.
ALO was awarded to identify and select the most vulnerable school student male and female in different school location in Kandahar Province to distribute food for them.
ALO acts as the FP for NSP in Nimroz and Kandahar province. These contracts were amendment and extend for delivering a program of participatory community development and institution -building. ALO works alongside and build the capacity of community development communities in undertaking inclusive community planning and management of development projects.

The Afghan Literacy Organization (ALO) was awarded the BMGF project by the World Food Programme (WFP) in Zabul. The primary aim of this project was to promote health awareness among the community. ALO played a crucial role in conducting surveys, identifying 3404 vulnerable individuals, and ensuring the provision of essential food supplies on a monthly basis. The project was implemented with a focus on supporting those in need, and all components were successfully completed, contributing to improved community health and well-being.
